When to Take Measurements
It is important that the edema is at its most reduced state. Most often this is found first thing in the morning or at the end of treatment.

Length measurements should be taken at each circumference. It is recommended that you mark the arm with a non-permanent, non-toxic marker at each circumference measurement made.

Measurement Points
1. Measure the ankle circumference at the narrowest part of the ankle above the ankle bone.

2. Measure the calf circumference at the fullest part of the calf.

3. Measure the thigh at the widest circumference.

4. Determine the thigh length (A-G) by measuring from the floor up to the gluteal fold.

I love the graduated compression. I may have been better with a regular length but the tall size does compress an upper thigh area that benefits me.

I have been wearing the Juzo thigh highs but find they slide down throughout the day. I have a 33"-34" inseam so I ordered the long & these are much nicer - they stay up & don't roll. These are great if you're tall !

I am prone to lymphedema in my left leg due to multiple surgeries on my lymph system to remove melanoma tumors. I am able to control it fairly well with exercise and elevating my leg at night. When weather is hot and muggy, or I sit too long, or am traveling long distance on a plane or in a car, I use Sigvaris thigh-high compression hose to keep leg from swelling and work very well. I use 20-30 wt when used in the summer and 30-40 wt when traveling.
