When to Take Measurements
It is important that the edema is at its most reduced state. Most often this is found first thing in the morning or at the end of treatment.

How to Take Length Measurements
Length measurements should be taken at each circumference. It is recommended that you mark the arm with a non-permanent, non-toxic marker at each circumference measurement made.

Measurement Points
1. Measure the ankle circumference at the narrowest part of the ankle above the ankle bone.

2. Measure the calf circumference at the fullest part of the calf.

3. Determine the calf length by measuring from the floor up to the bend of the knee. This measurement is taken on the outside of the calf.

Wearing compression stockings is better than chemo! After surgery for endometrial cancer all was well, no chemo needed but then my right leg started swelling. The product itself is great, but the price is way too high. Makes it almost impossible to afford more than one pair, which makes it hard on that one pair because it has to be worn daily, laundered too frequently and will acquire holes and worn places too quickly.
