When to Take Measurements
It is important that the edema is at its most reduced state. Most often this is found first thing in the morning or at the end of treatment.

Measurement Points
1. Place the arm extended and relaxed slightly with the palm down on a flat surface.

2. Measure point A circumference at the wrist (all measurements should be in centimeters).

3. Measure point E circumference of the palm..

The MedaGlove is designed for daytime or nighttime use by individuals with lymphedema, post-surgical swelling, chronic venous insufficiency, phlebitis, and other types of edema. The MedaGlove provides 10-20 mmHg compression, or 20-40 mmHg compression with the optional UniStrap. This Spandex compression hand piece is made with WaveFoam, a unique open-cell foam that creates hi-lo pressure areas which gently massage the superficial lymphatic system. WaveFoam has been shown to be effective at softening hardened, fibrotic areas. The MedaGlove has extra foam in the palm space for additional dorsal compression. It can be machine washed and dryed.

Cant live without this. I love the unistrap with it to costomize my compression. This gives me the best feeling of all the products ive tried. And ive tried am all. Feels like a dream. I cant wait to put it on when im done working. Im a pharmacist, and if you hate safety caps, tro doibg 400 a day.

The medaglove is perfect for me since I deal with swelling mainly in my hand but have been using a cumbersome 'hand/arm unit'. It also allows me to remove the hand unit 'quickly' to attend to chores that might require use of bare hands for a few minutes.
