When to Take Measurements
It is important that the edema is at its most reduced state. Most often this is found first thing in the morning or at the end of treatment.

How to Take Length Measurements
Circumference measurements should be taken from above the brow line and the mid-neck. It is recommended that you mark the arm with a non-permanent, non-toxic marker at each point.

The Universal Neck Pad was designed to address bilateral head and neck edema. If the swelling is in front of the ear then it is recommended that this pad should be ordered with the Standard Chin Strap for maximum effectiveness. If swelling is present behind the ear then it is recommended that this pad should be ordered with the Extended Style Chin Strap.
