When to Take Measurements
It is important that the edema is at its most reduced state. Most often this is found first thing in the morning or at the end of treatment.

How to Take Length Measurements
Circumference measurements should be taken from above the brow line and the mid-neck. It is recommended that you mark the arm with a non-permanent, non-toxic marker at each point.

The Standard Chin Strap was designed to address edema of the neck, mandible, and the anterior/lateral aspects of the face. The open next seam creates a pocket between the two layers of fabric, which can accommodate your choice of padding. Hook and loop fastener straps at the neck and top of the head can be adjusted to the patients comfort level, making the garment suitable for overnight wear.
